Our efforts are mainly in the cultivation of durum wheat, common wheat and triticales, inter alia.
We have a section of Field Cereals with 5 reception points (Campillos, Olvera, Villalones Center, El Bosque and Jerez de la Frontera)
The Los Remedios – Picasat Cooperative carries out the multiplication of certified seeds for Durum Wheat, Soft Wheat and Barley and is a member of the Agrovegetal Society, Society dedicated to obtaining and developing new varieties of extensive crops and the production of certified seeds, always in the spirit of improving the genetics of the seeds of its associates and therefore improving their profitability.
Over the last few years, the Los Remedios Picasat SCA Cooperative, in collaboration with other entities, has participated in different projects to improve the productivity and resistance to diseases of cereals, as well as in the improvement of varieties that, due to their quality, are adapted to feed production..
These studies focus on different varieties of wheat (hard and soft), barley and triticales with the objective of evaluating with statistical data, the best climatologically adapted variety, disease resistance and productivity, in our agricultural area.
