Modesto Barragan, official sponsor of the new campaign 25/26

The past 3 October, The Los Remedios Picasat Cooperative Society welcomed the new oil production campaign with the appointment of D. Modesto Barragán Ríos, renowned journalist, communicator and presenter, as official sponsor of the olive campaign.

The mayor of Olvera attended the event, Ms.. Palma Remedies; the delegate of the Government of the Junta de Andalucía in Cádiz, Ms.. Mercedes Colombo; the territorial delegate of Agriculture, Cattle raising, Fishing, Water and Rural Development in Cádiz, D. Francisco José Moreno García; the territorial delegate of Environment and Water, D. Óscar Curtido Naranjo; and the general director of Agri-Food Cooperatives of Andalusia, D. Jaime Martínez Conradi, in addition to representatives of the sector, financial institutions and distribution companies.

During the appointment, From the different administrations, “the relevance and quality of olive oil from the province of Cádiz” was valued., highlighting its economic importance, gastronomic and cultural, as well as its healthy properties.
